Some weddings leave a lasting impression not just because of their beauty, but because of how deeply personal and intentional every detail feels. Jen and Eric’s wedding at the historic Fairmont Banff Springs was exactly that — timeless, heartfelt, and effortlessly elegant.
Set against the backdrop of the Canadian Rockies, their celebration took place in a venue that feels like a fairytale castle — grand stone archways, sweeping views of the Bow Valley, and just the right amount of mountain mist to make it all feel otherworldly. It was a perfect summer day, with some rain, just enough to create a beautiful rainbow. As the Photo Booth team, we were set up in a cozy corner of the Mt Stephen Hall, where guests gravitated throughout the night.
For their photo booth, Jen and Eric chose a style that perfectly matched the tone of their day: a classic black and white portrait setup, with no props — just people, moments, and emotion. This choice turned the booth into something more than just entertainment — it became a space for timeless documentation, where each frame felt like a page out of a fashion editorial or an old Hollywood film.
Without the distraction of props, the true personalities of their guests came through — laughter lines, tight embraces, soft smiles, and candid glances. Couples leaned into each other. Friends held hands. Parents stood proudly. Each image felt intimate and authentic. There was something powerful about stripping things back to the essentials — just people and light — and watching moments unfold naturally.

The black and white format added a layer of elegance and nostalgia, turning each photo into a timeless keepsake, rather than just a party snapshot.
We feel incredibly lucky to have been part of this day — to witness such honest connection and to contribute, in our small way, to the memories Jen and Eric will carry forward. Their wedding was a celebration not just of love, but of style, intention, and meaning.
